Introduction

The Diehl HYDRUS 2.0 is a static ultrasonic water meter for domestic and residential supply, in cold water and hot water versions. It measures with ultrasound, so there are no moving parts to wear or jam, it does not measure air, and it is insensitive to sediment. It keeps its accuracy over the long term, including in difficult water conditions. The cold water versions are for water up to 50 °C and the hot water versions are for water up to 90 °C. The meter has an integrated Wireless MBus OMS radio for remote meter reading.

• Data storage for up to 1024 daily values and 32 monthly values, plus two annual due dates
• Operating pressure above 0.3 bar and up to 16 bar (PN16)
• Accuracy class 2 (OIML R49), with ±5 % from Q1 up to Q2, and ±2 % (cold water) or ±3 % (hot water T90) from Q2 up to Q4
• Radio on 868 MHz at 25 mW e.r.p. or 434 MHz at 10 mW e.r.p., sending every 14 to 256 seconds depending on protocol length and programming
