Our Orbit system provides the same functionality as a traditional PAYG solution, without the limitations associated with in-home hardware.
Orbit utilises cloud technology and is hardware agnostic, meaning you can select your metering, data collection equipment and technologies, including open-protocol MBus and Wireless MBus as well as IoT, LoRaWAN, and NB-IoT, without losing the ability to reduce debt-risk.
The reason our system is actually open-protocol is because we’re just a PAYG Cloud provider. This means you can switch to another PAYG cloud provider, or even your own; without any perpetual licensing fees to pay. We also don’t limit you to specific hardware that you can only buy from us, be operated by us or maintained by us – lowering your capital and ongoing operational costs.
