Please note that this is a standard wiring diagram for basic solenoid valves supplied by Sycous. If installing on other valve or control board it is is recommended to seek advise from their manufacturers.
Using an appropriate size 3 core flex, Live, Neutral & CPC no bigger than 1.5mm, install the flex from the Spur to the CMeX40, the neutral conductor can remain unbroken until it terminates into the Solenoid valve, the live conductor needs to be broken terminating the incoming from the spur to terminal 7 of the CMex40 and the live outgoing to the solenoid valve need to terminate into terminal 6 of the CMeX40, this will then form a switch through the CMeX40 device.
The Terminals 7&6 come normally closed from the manufacturer so once all the wiring is in place, terminated and energised the solenoid valve will be in the on position and flow should be achieved through the system. The CMeX40 needs to be installed within an amendment 3 compliant earthed metal cladded, small enclosure with a din rail.
