The Kamstrup MULTICAL 403 is a static heat, cooling or combined heat and cooling meter that measures with ultrasound, so there are no moving parts to wear. It is a compact meter with the calculator and flow sensor built together, with two temperature sensors, and it is made for flats, houses, housing associations, blocks of flats and small industry. The meter range covers nominal flow qp from 0.6 to 15 m³/h, with sizes from DN15 to DN50.

- Calculator and flow sensor are supplied together and cannot be separated
- Programmable data logger with minute loggers
- Many settings can be changed from the front keys, such as flow sensor position, energy unit, MBus address, radio on or off and target dates
- One slot for a communication module, with wired MBus, wireless MBus, BACnet, Modbus and analog output available
- Battery supply with up to 16 years of life, or a 24 VAC or 230 VAC mains supply module
- Seven or eight digit display resolution
- Approved to MID 2014/32/EU and EN 1434
403 and 303
The MULTICAL 303 is the smaller residential version for DN15 and DN20, with its modules built in. The MULTICAL 403 is the larger range with a slot for a plug in communication module. This section covers the 403.
Product Variants
The last two letters of each meter part code show the output fitted. MO is MBus, NO is no comms, PO is pulse and WO is wireless MBus. The size is the flow part connection and Qp is the nominal flow.
