Kamstrup MULTICAL 603 heat and cooling meter calculator

The Kamstrup MULTICAL 603 is a calculator for heat meters, cooling meters and combined heat and cooling meters. It works with one or two ULTRAFLOW ultrasonic flow sensors and two or three temperature sensors, and calculates the energy used from the flow and the temperature difference between inlet and outlet. It is a fully programmable meter with a minute data logger, a two second integration interval and two slots for communication modules, so it suits everything from a single flat to a plant room or a large site.

Features

  • Heat, cooling or combined heat and cooling metering in one calculator
  • One or two ULTRAFLOW flow sensors and two or three Pt100 or Pt500 temperature sensors
  • Fully programmable data logger with minute loggers, from one minute up to one year
  • Two second integration interval
  • Up to 16 years of battery life at a reading interval down to 10 seconds
  • Two communication module slots, with the option of a built in wired MBus
  • Seven or eight digit display resolution, with a backlit display variant (603 F)
  • Simple interface with three push buttons on the front
  • Auto Detect of ULTRAFLOW X4, which adjusts the pulse figure and qp to match the connected flow sensor
  • Compatible with mixed fluids
  • Powered by a D cell battery, two A cell batteries, or 24 VAC or 230 VAC mains supply modules
  • IP65 calculator, approved to MID 2014/32/EU and EN 1434

Product Variants

The last two letters of each meter part code show the output fitted. MO is MBus, NO is no comms, PO is pulse and WO is wireless MBus. The size is the flow part connection and Qp is the nominal flow.
